Summiting Meat Everest

We’ve driven a long way to sample the legend that is Kansas City BBQ.
Luckily the plume of smoke from LC’s Barbecue can be seen from a great distance.
For 15 dollars, you get two kinds of sliced smoked meat, and the ‘long rack’ of ribs.

LC's table perks

The meat is tender, with lots of rich fat and a deep, smoky flavour. The sauce is deliciously tangy, but sweet too.
Everyone eats facing the TV. There is copious analysis on the death of Anna Nicole Smith, plus a story about a man in Brazil saving his grandson from a hungry python.

Mission mostly accomplished.
Thanks LC.

Hey Jack,

I love Oregon after being here over a year! The department of homeland security gave me & Sam a really hard time too. I’ll never forget getting my eye/iris scan while Sam (18 months) was screaming on the other side of a glass wall. It takes a few months to get over an encounter with those "folks". You just need to keep moving west to the land of friendly people and beautiful scenery.

Come visit when you and Megan have a chance.

Congrats on your cute niece!
