Just by the hair on our chinny chin chin
Now before I go further- Jack spent the last $25 canadian he had on Jerk Beef just before we hit Detroit...
ok.
Ambassador Bridge
It is late and it has been a very long day. We have arrived in the center of Battle Creek- Home to all things Kellogg. Our trip was not supposed to take us through Detroit- but it did, wrong turn at London, ON. The border- not so good. We were turned away once. A sad and scared Jack and Colin made their way back to Windsor where Jack got all the proper paperwork together in minutes flat. Off we went, once again, to cross that damn Bridge. This time after about a 45 min sweat fest, we made it. And drove like hell. Battle Creek sounded interesting and not until we actually got here did we even know its connection to the Kellogg dynasty, it all started here, as did the Seven Day Adventists- weird. There are soo many churches here it is astounding.
More will come. One crazy day of driving, tension and AMERICA!!!! We find ourselves tonight in McCamly Plaza Hotel, attached to the Kellogg Centre and right accross the street from the Kellogg research Centre. Tomorrow there is no question, Special K, or Corn Flakes!!! Looks like this place has a pool and hot tub- oh yeaa, early morning splash!
First thing purchased in America- bottle of Jim Beam.
